Hi! My name is Rich Aguilera. This page is here in case you want to know a little more about “The Mud Guy” behind One Mustard Seed.
Travel is my favorite hobby. I enjoy going on architecture trips, mission trips, archaeology digs, or just plain filming trips.
I’m fascinated with geography and exploring God’s unique nature in every new place I visit. Currently, I’ve traveled to 49 of the 50 US states, and 76 countries on all 6 inhabited continents.
After working in architecture for 16 years, I felt a strong call to work for God full-time on youth and children’s ministries a series of events led to the clear indication that this was the direction God was calling me: To use 100% of my creative energy for Him!!!
I shut down my architecture practice and I created One Mustard Seed in 2008 and got right to work.
The last few years our goals have been dedicated into working in various areas of children’s ministries, and teaching people young and old about God as our Creator and the authority of Biblical truths.
With the theory of evolution infiltrating society at every level, especially with a clear attack on children, we made our focus on finding fun, creative ways to teach people to see the evidence on our planet that our loving Father God created everything.
By the way, if you’re wondering where the “Mud Guy” name came from, it’s because I write a nature column called “Mud” for a great magazine called “Guide Magazine” that targets kids 10-14 years old. You can also watch some of my programs on several Christian TV stations including 3ABN and Hope Channel.
The name “One Mustard Seed” is a daily reminder that if we have the faith the size of even ONE tiny mustard seed, the results through God can be enormous!
